MAGYAR EGYHÁZ 9 MAGYAR CHURCH KEEP ALL THE COMMANDMENTS . . . The smallest organization in the world must have rules to live by. As society becomes more complex, more regulations are brought into the life of the people. These laws and regulations are communicated by words and traditions. No nation can live without laws. Regardless where in the world you happen to be you must abide by the laws of that country. Just imagine if our laws would not be kept, if the traffic regulations would be disregarded? What would happen? If in the church, there would be no discipline? Chaos, anarchy and utter ruthlessness would set in. Most civilizations of the world perished not because of attack by outside enemies but because of inner corruptions and the rampant sins and abominations in the hearts of men. America can hardly be destroyed from the “outside”, yet the moral decay, godlessness, disrespect and disregarding the laws of the land threatens the nation from “within”. It seems to many that Christianity is on the decline and godlessness will conquer the world. Bible centered preaching is practiced less and less and increasing emphasis is upon the peripheral issues of life. People neglect to read their Bibles, and do not attend worship services faithfully. Private and family affairs and all kinds of little jobs come before God and church. Generally speaking men disregard the commandments of God! We have today the same signs that were characteristic at the decline and fall of the Roman empire and other ancient civilizations. Family life becomes loose and children disobey their parents and disregard the command of their teachers and superiors. More scandals occur in public life, by individuals who do not fulfill their responsibilities. People only desre pleasure and no work. Money without honest labor. Millions are spent on armaments while the real enemy, the decadence of the people is “with-One of the newspapers recently recorded, that New Yorkers are avoiding the use of Central Park even during the daylight hours for fear of violence. Reports show, that crime has increased much faster than the population. Some point out, that many major crimes are committed by persons under 16 years of age, which indicates the lack of religious training of the children in the homes. What does Christianity need today? Soft preaching? NEVER! We need more honest, true Christians who are not ashamed to stand up for Christ, God and His laws. Jesus Christ must be pointed out as the only Savior of the world. The Bible speaks clearly and tells us, that we should respect God’s commandments ! Furthermore, we must esteem God’s commandments above all. We must pay tribute to Jesus Christ, our Lord and keep not only some of His commandments, but all of them. We are not allowed to select which command we like and which we do not. We must keep all the commandments of our Heavenly Father. This is the challenge to all Christians. How can you teach your children to be sincere Christians, when you are not? How can we witness for Christ unless we ourselves keep, all the statues of the Lord? How can we say, that we serve Him wholeheartedly if our heart goes after vanity? God, the Almighty Lord commanded us to keep His precepts and honor His statues. He did not say YOU shall keep some of my laws or walk in obedience of a few. No. He has given us His laws and we must keep and obey them. If He says keep my commandments, be assured, that there is a great benefit by doing so. No man can ever pray to God for partial obedience. The believer must respect and keep all God’s commandments. What do we mean by respecting all of God’s commandments? Whatever He commanded in the Bible we should esteem and respect. If you love your Heavenly Father, you must obey all His commandments. There must be a balance and proportion to be observed in everything you do. Some people divide
