The young couple will make their home in Washington, D. C. The annual dinner to honor the newly elected elders and officers of the church and of the Ladies’ Guild was a huge success. At this time our Chief elder, Louis Kish and Alex Kosa were pre­sented a gold wristwatch for their long and' devoted services to the congrega­tion. The Ladies’ Guild had a profitable Chinese Auction. The time of our services is changed, beginning with the first Sunday in Lent. The Hungarian service will start at 9:30 and the English service at 11:00 A.M. This will continue throughout the year. TRENTON, N. J. Our Good Friday and Easter services will be observed in the customary way. This year, again, we shall serve the Lord’s Supper on Maundy Thursday as well as on Easter Sunday. Baptism: On March the 4th, Suzanne Margaret, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lattin was baptized. The god­parents are Mr. and Mrs. Charles Metz­ger. Marriage: On February 17th Yolan­da Pandak and Steven Kovács were wed. Witnesses were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Phenix. Funerals: February 17: Alexander Revay, March 8: Mrs. Paul Bartha, March 12: Stephen Szabó. Our former custodian, Frank Turba, died in Colum­bus, Ohio. At our congregational dinner on March 18th, we remembered the 1848 Freedom Revolution of Hungary. Also, we honored our former Chief-Elder, Mr. Joseph Jenei, who was selected by the Board of Elders as “Man of the Year”. Dean’s Visit: The Rev. Dr. Andrew Harsanyi, Dean of the Eastern Classis, attended our Elder’s Meeting on March the 8th during his annual visitation. Accompanying him was Mr. John Nemes, Chief-Elder of the Eastern Classis. The Women’s Guild catered a Hun­garian Dinner to Civil Service em­ployees on February 12th. They also sponsored a social afternoon on March 4th. The Lorántffy Zsuzsanna Ladies’ Aid has had successful stuffed cabbage, kalács-bread, and noodle sales this past month. The pastor prepared the 27-page Year Book for 1972 and mailed 650 copies to members of our congregation. This year’s first sizeable project of repairs will be to replace the roof on our school building and to remodel the auditorium under the church building for additional Sunday School rooms. YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO From the Annual Report: receipts in 1972, including the $6,458.01 balance from 1971, was $32,075.04, expenses $24,381.44, leaving a balance of $7,- 693.60. The church owes to the Ameri­can Hungarian Reformed Federation $9,333.26. Last year we installed wood panelling in the hall, we had the hall painted and we put in new floor in the hall. Most of the work was done by the members of the congregation. We would like to express our thanks to those who continue to serve Hungarian Reformed people through the Hungarian Radio in cooperation with other Hungarian churches in the Mahoning Valley. The Hungarian service can be heard every Sunday night at 6:30 on WPIC-FM radio, 102.9 on your dial. The second part of the service is in English. The newly elected officers of the Yolanda Circle are: Mrs. John Halasé Jr., president, Mrs. Joseph Woicicky, vice-president, Mrs. Nick Bayus, treas­urer, Mrs. John Dubos secretary. On February 25 th, we observed Youth Sunday in our church. On that date all parts of the English service were taken over by members of the Youth Group. Our order of services for Easter: Maundy Thursday English service with Communion at 7:30 P.M. Good Friday: Hungarian service at 11 A.M., English service at 7:30 P.M. Easter Sunday: English service at 9:30 A.M., Hungarian service at 11 A.M. During both services Communion will be served. On January 12th we buried our sister Mrs. Andrew Batary. Mrs. Batary was a charter member of the Church and also of the Ladies Aid. The comforting of God be with the sorrowing family. Márciusi szabadság ünnepélyünk az akroni magyarság emlékezetes megmoz­dulása volt. Ünnepi beszédet mondott Dr. Banda Árpád egyetemi professzor, egyházunk presbitere, szavaltak Pfahler Hugo presbiterünk és Batizy Csanád egyháztagunk. Temetések: Yámbor Alex 68, március 3-án és Miskár Jánosné 91, március 12-én. Egervári Gyula presbiterünk vezeté­sével ingyenes magyar nyelv oktatás folyik egyházunknál. 32-en tanulnak magyarul. Mező Istvánná testvérünk szeretett férje Mező István emlékére 1,000 dol­lárt adományozott a Lorántffy Otthon­nak. Ugyancsak 1,000 dollárt ado­mányozott erre a célra Nagy Erzsébet szülei Nagy József és neje emlékére. Isten áldása legyen az adakozókon és a megnevezettek emlékén. Lelkészünk az elmúlt hetekben es­­peresi látogatásokat végzett McKees­­porton és Windsorban. Windsorba el­kísérte lelkészünket Boné Károly az egyházmegye főgondnoka. Húsvéti ünnepi istentiszteleti ren­dünk: Nagypénteki közös istentisztelet nagypénteken, 1973 április 20-án este 7 órakor. Húsvéti urvacsorai istentiszte­let husvétvasárnap, április 22-én 9:30- kor magyarul, 11 órakor angol nyelven. Husvét hétfőn egész nap beteg és öreg testvérek urvacsoráztatása öreg ottho­nokban és otthonaikban. Az alliancei Magyar Református Egyház megszűnésével a gyülekezet megmaradt tagjai hivatalosan csatla­koztak egyházunkhoz. Isten áldása legyen hűséges magyar református test­véreink életén és közöttünk végzendő szolgálatán.
