16 MAGYAR EGYHÁZ Christ, and others, but... if you carefully examine the lives of gateful people, you will find that they are cheerful and happy, they can overcome trials and difficulties with ease, while those who are ungrateful usually nurture an injurious spirit, and constantly complain abuot life. If you need healing in your heart, peace in your home, where you work and in your church or anywhere, remember to give thanks to God Almighty. III. If anyone would ask why we have to give thanks, we can answer the following: that ingratitude is an insult to our Creator and gratitude glorifies our Maker. We have to render God what is due to Him, if it is thanksgiving and praise, then we must wholeheartedly give Him our thanks and praise. If you as a child of God know and what belongs to our Lord and what is due to Him, would you knowingly rob Him of it? Harken to the apostle who said: be ye thankful! Give thanks and praise to our Lord for your life, for your family, for your country, for your church, and all the blessings He has so abundantly bestowed upon you day by day. Be thankful not only on Thanksgiving Day, but every day of your life and for ever and ever. Dezső Ábrahám NEWS FROM THE CONGREGATIONS ALLEN PAKK, MICH.
