The Summer School has scheduled a trip to Madison Square Garden to view “Disney On Parade.” Another picnic is also planned before the summer is over. Ten members of the Youth Fellow­ship registered for the National Con­ference. The Junior Women’s Guild will spon­sor a Fashion Show on October 9. Applying the gift of the Lorantffy Society to the church’s mortgage fund we will be four years in advance with our payments. We were happy to greet Mrs. Julia Bartus, Sr., who came to Carteret for a brief visit from Florida, on her 95th birthday. Dr. Harsanyi was a fraternal dele­gate to the General Assembly of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, held June 19-24 in Kansas City, representing all member churches of the North Ame­rican Area Council of the Reformed World Alliance. DUQUESNE, PA. 115 worshippers participated at Holy Communion on August 6th, to thank the Lord for new bread. (Harvest Home Communion.) Our Vacation Bible School was held August 7-11. The closing program was well attended, so were the sessions dur­ing the entire week. Mrs. Irene Zeleznik was our Director. Our Women’s Club held two picnics during the summer. The Club is pre­paring for the Christmas Bazaar. Our building is in need of repairs. We had the stained glass windows and the roofs repaired to prepare the build­ings for the oncoming fall and winter. McKeesport, pa. The dedication of our new church was held on Sunday, July 23 at 4 p.m. The Hungarian sermon was delivered by the Rt. Rev. Louis Nagy, superin­tendent of the Bethlen Home and for­mer pastor of the congregation. The Rt. Rev. Dezső Ábrahám, Bishop preached the English sermon. He also declared the church dedicated to the service and worship of Almighty God. The follow­ing ministers participated in the ser­vice: Rev. Charles Darocy, Rev. Kálmán Csia, Rev. Dr. György Csia and Rev. Louis Illés. During the service the choir sang two hymns and Mrs. Louis Jar­­danhazy offered a solo. The dedication service was followed by the banquet at the Fellowship Hall. After the delicious dinner, remarks were made by the Rev. Dr. László Ber­­zeviczy, Mr. Charles Bone, chief elder of the Western Classis, Mr. Elmer Char­les, president of the William Penn Fra­ternal Association, Congressman Joseph Gaydos, State Senator Edward Zemp­­relli and other distinguished guests. The main speakers were Judge Albert A. Fiók and Rev. Zoltán Kovács. In be­half of the Hungarian Reformed Fed­eration of America, the Rt. Rev. Zoltán Béky, president and Mr. Paul St. Mik­­lossy, treasurer, extended their best wishes. Toastmaster was Mr. John Kontz, chief elder. The welcome speech was offered by Mr. Steve Balogh, vice chief elder. Both in the church and in the Fellowship Hall, there was a full house. Our many thanks to our guests, friends and members for attending our dedication worship service and ban­quet. There were many delegates from the William Penn Fraternal Association, Hungarian Reformed Church of Du­­quesne, Hungarian Reformed Church of Pittsburgh, and Hungarian Reformed Church of Homestead. We also appre­ciate the services of the Committees. Wedding: August 5, Miss Deborah Orris and Rev. Barnabas Roczey. The ceremony was performed by the Rt. Rev. Dezső Ábrahám, bishop. Funeral: August 5, Mr. Gabor S. Balogh. May God grant him a peaceful rest and comfort his loved ones. The 50th Anniversary Celebration of our church will be held on Sunday, October 22. PERTH AMBOY, N. J. Thanks and appreciation to our Va­cation Bible School teachers and help­ers, parents and children, who made it a successful venture. All church organizations will continue their regular activities, Summer School, confirmation classes, Youth Fellowship, Choir, Women organizations. The ac­complishments of the congregation will depend upon the cooperation of our members. On July 23rd, The Rev. Joseph Bod­nár, Pastor of the Bayard Street Pres­byterian Church of New Brunswick conducted both services, while our pas­tor attended the new church dedication in McKeesport, Pa. On August 6th, Michael Filimon, student at Moody Bible Institute, Chi­cago, 111., preached the English sermon and assisted with the Holy Communion. He is a great-grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Seemann. Statistics: Christopher Michael, the first born son of Mr. Andrew Lovász and Pamela Switka was baptized on June 25th; Christ Joseph, son of Ste­phen J. Blaho and Lorraine Kiwior was baptized on June 11th; Mark Bechara, the 3rd son of Dr. Anthony Saker and Carol Lasok, born on Jan. 18, 1965 in Bogota, Columbia, was baptized on July 16th; Anthony Saker Jr. from Bogota, Columbia was confirmed. The family was visiting grandparents Mr. and Mrs. William Lasok. Marriages: Grace A. Wilkinson and James S. Pirigyi June 16th; Linda J. Vargo and William G. Fiore July 30th; Carmella Zullo and Bruce G. Tampa July 30th; Diane R. DelGaudio and Richard Buda Aug. 19th. Deaths are recorded in the Hunga­rian section. Alex B. Eger, our attorney was ap­pointed “municipal court judge” in Perth Amboy, N. J. and was sworn in on August 12th, reception followed in our center. On the first Sunday of July we held our long-awaited Annual Summer Pic­nic, which was a success as usual. It is true that we had to postpone it, be­cause of the rainy weather brought by Hurricane Agnes, but it did not “dampen” our spirits. We had a very nice crowd from our sister church in Perth Amboy, and would like to thank our Bishop D. Abraham for organizing them. The date of our second picnic (fam­ily picnic) is still not set, but in the past it has always been a “fun” event, when everyone brings their own food and games and share it with each other. During the month of August, we also had two trips organized by- our church —: the first one, sponsored by the Wo­men’s Guild, for our Sunday School children, was to Clementon Park. This
