J. 08861 $1.00—Handling & Postage $.25 ROEBLING, N. J. Last month, we held our long-awaited annual picnic. Despite the favorable weather, the total in attendance proved relatively small in contrast to our anticipated number. This reflected on our income which totaled $379.69. Everyone who attended, however, enjoyed the fellowship and delicious food. Our Summer School also reopened this summer which had been discontinued for the past two years. The attendance was low; but nevertheless, it proved worthwile for the few who attended. Many thanks to the teachers, Mrs. Bertalan Somogyi, Mrs. James Bajzath, and Mrs. Joseph Havas who gave of their time and of themselves; and also to the children who took part. Another accomplishment on our part took place just recently when the gate in the front of our church was repainted. It proved quite a task because the old accumulated paint had to be burned off before it could be repainted. The cost of our project— $300. To add to our Church’s activity the children took their annual trip to Clementon Park, N.J. We spent an enjoyable time together and left with the hope and anticipation of returning again next year. During the warm summer months, our Church Service was pushed ahead an hour, proving to be a success. Starting
