10 MAGYAR EGYHÁZ OUR LENTEN MISSION: One Great Hour of Sharing There is hardly a place or country in the world where there would be no need for aid to those people who suffer from some misfortune. If it is not war devastating one nation, then rebellion tears the people apart, or floods, earthquakes, tornadoes and other powers of the elements cause great devastations among millions. Tears were wiped from the eyes, wounds were healed, the hungry were fed, and medication provided to countless millions where it was needed by emergency help from Church World Service. In most Protestant churches one Sunday each year is designated as ONE GREAT HOUR OF SHARING, when everyone brings up his sacrificial gift for the support of this work. Let us all join in sharing the burdens of the homeless and destitute millions around the world. Posters, leaflets and offering envelopes will be sent to our congregations. A half hour sound movie is available in this Lenten season to our churches or organizations. Please, take your offering to your own church; or if you live far away from one of our congregations, mail your donation direct to our Mission Fund. Churches are asked to send in their contributions to; Mission Fund, c/o Mr. Albert St. Miklósy, Treasurer, 23 Evergreen Avenue, Fords, N. J. 08863.
