Several members of the Duquesne Church who formerly (1949-1960) belonged to the B.Y.F. met in Duquesne on July 30th, 1970, to formulate plans for an Alumni Association Conference tentatively to be held in Duquesne during the Labor Day weekend of 1971. This Conference is not merely being planned for a reacquaintance weekend but also to give our younger B.Y.F. members some inspiration to continue to grow in the fellowship of our Christian faith and to belong to the Alumni Association. As plans continue to progress, it is anticipated that this Conference will be held in the same general format as the B.Y.F. Conferences held in our era. Keep in mind that this Conference will be open to you and members of your family (children included). Supervision will be provided for children during meeting periods. All of you who have participated in past B.Y.F. Conferences and are 25 years or older must at this time give us your support. We are asking you to take time to notify your representative, no later than September 30th, 1970, of your sincere interest in making the Alumni Association a reality.
