ROEBLING, N. J. God indeed blessed us with a wonderful Christmas Season. Our faithful members were earnest in -their attendance in the House of Worship and also in their Christian giving. It was a joy to hear again the reassuring words of Christmas: “To you is born this day... a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord.” The Women’s Guild held its annual Christmas Party on December 8. It was a wonderful time of fellowship and exchanging gifts in the spirit of Christmas. Our Sunday School had an outstanding Christmas Program on Sunday, December 21. Approximately 100 people were present. We are thankful to all those who made this program so meaningful. God bless them for their excellent work and cooperation. We purchased a new Baidwinorgan. The dedication will be held in the near future. The Women’s Guild donated $500 and the Lorántfy Guild $300 to our church for Christmas. We are grateful for these generous donations. We thank God for giving us women who are always willing to work and promote the program of our church so faithfully. The Pastor and his parents would like to express many thanks to all the members for their kindnesses and gifts during the whole year, especially during the Christmas Season. We express our thanks and appreciation to all the faithful members of our church who faithfully worshipped God in his House, tried to live a Christian life, -generously supported the church with their offerings, and shared in the work and ministry of the church. May God bless them and inspire them to do even more so in 1970 to God’s glory and for the benefit of their beloved church. STATEN ISLAND, N. Y.
