ROEBLING, N. J. Most of our members lived with Holy Communion on Easter Sunday. The Holy Week and Easter worship services were well attended. On Holy Thursday Bert Somogyi, Jr., vice chief elder, Dennis Kimble and David Bartha participated in the worship service. Officers of the Women’s Guild for this year are Mrs. Frank Nagy president, Mrs. Allen Birkholz vice president, Mrs. James Harkel secretary (33il E. 2nd St., Florence, N. J. 08518) and Mrs. George Bordash treasurer. The following elders attended the annual meeting of the Eastern Classis: James Gilanyi, Steven Bajzath and Allen Birkholz. Steven Wargo was present as the member of the Classis. Our church was represented by the Rev. Barnabás Rőczey and Steven Varga, chief elder, who was elected treasurer of the Classis for 1969. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Soltész was baptized in our church on Sunday, March 2. She received the Christian names Melanie Elizabeth. May God bless her and her loved ones. STATEN ISLAND, N. Y. Elder James O’Donneel was elected assistant vice-president of the congregation. The Women’s Guild sponsored a Dutchmaid Demonstration on April 21. The dates of the Annual Bazaar are September 27 and October 4. Chance-books for the raffle are already available from members of the Guild. The Annual Mother’s Day Dinner is scheduled for May 11, 12 noon, following a bilingual worship service. The following young people will be confirmed in their Reformed faith on May 18 at the 10 o’clock Englishlanguage service: Linda Cutler, Richard Iski, Judith Kish, Charles Kosa, Debra Teixure and Sandra Teixure. Births: a son to Robert Myron and his wife, the former Alexandra Szabó and a daughter to James Fulop and his wife, the former Rosalie Kosa. May the Lord bless the happy families. YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO The Lord’s blessing was with us during the Easter holidays. 249 persons took communion in the church; there were 8 sick-communicants. This number represents 85% of our communicant membership. On Palm Sunday and Easter the Ladies Aid, the Yolanda Circle and the Men’s Club beautified the church with palms and flowers. On Mother’s Day, after the church service, there will be a Mother’s Day Dinner served in the hall. Baptism: Jay Charles, son of Elmer Stalnacker, Jr. and Joanne Marie Sokol. Godparents: Edward Such, Jr. and Mrs. Sandra Mastorides. YOUTH NEWS BETHLEN YOUTH FEDERATION 1969 B.Y.F. Conference to be Best Ever This year’s National B.Y.F. Camp, August 28th to September 1st, promises to be the most spiritually enlightening and enjoyable youth conference to date. Expanded to four big days, the Conference at Camp Conestoga in Minerva, Ohio offers a rich religious atmosphere in a beautiful recreational environment. The Youngstown Youth Fellowship has begun preparations for the 1969 camp. Committee chairmen are: Jerry Vantell - Speaker and Topic Committee, Lary Mislevy - Registration Committee, Loraine Mocker - Recreation Committee, Debbie Smith - Correspondence Committee, and John Halasé - Program Committee. Our adult advisors are Michael and Elizabeth Ellis. The March issue of “Campsight ’69” newsletter contains information concerning our progress to date. It is now the time for all Youth Fellowship Groups who are interested in attending this year’s Conference to initiate fund raising projects to help finance camp expenses. It will be a B.Y.F. Conference you won’t want to miss, so start your preparations now! EASTERN AREA YOUTH FEDERATION The Christian Youth Fellowship of Carteret will be the host to the next Eastern Area Youth Conference to be held Sunday, May 18 in Bethlen Hall. “A Mortician Looks at the Dead and the Living” will be the keynote address to be delivered by Miss Irene Synowiecki, a local funeral director. A magyar istentiszteleten konfirmáltak Batizy Árpád, Batizy Csanád, Batizy Szabolcs, Batizy Tass és Borbély Sándor, az angol istentiszteleten Binkley Katerine, Johnson Rachelle, Johnson Russell, Johnson Vicki, Kun Karen, Kun Valerie. Húsvéti istentiszteleteinken teljesen megtelt templomunk. Az úrvacsorázók száma 107 volt a magyar istentiszteleten, 106 az angolon, 13 beteg testvérünk otthonában élt az úrvacsorával. Március 26-án eltemettük Kun József tiszteletbeli presbiter testvérünket, egyházunk alapító tagját és hosszú időn át példamutató vezetőjét, életének 75-ik esztendejében. — Március 28-án eltemettük Vázsonyi Lajost életének 57-ik esztendejében. —■ Gyülekezetünk tagjai mindkét alkalommal őszinte szívvel vettek részt a temetési szolgálatokon és osztoztak a gyászolók fájdalmában. Angol énekkarunk húsvét vasárnap énekelt először a Fellowship Circle által adományozott gyönyörű új énekkari ruhákban.
