(Will be continued) Stephen Kovács From A Letter From Yiet-Nam Dear Pastor: . . . I would like to thank you very much for remembering me in the church. Also for the prayer book. I keep it it with me and read it whenever I get some time. ... Being over here in the war I do a lot more praying than I ever did before. There are a lot of times when I feel all alone. That is when I need someone to help me. The good Lord hears my prayers because I could have never made it through some of these things... . .. When a person has to do without the ones or things you love you really learn to appreciate them. I ask the Lord forgiveness for all the times I abused them. My arm is feeling fine and I am back in the action... We all suffer but I guess that’s the price of war. I am thankful I am alive. With faith and a little luck Til make it home to my loved ones... . . . May the good Lord watch over everyone at home as He does here. Thank you again for remembering me at a time when it helps very much to know you are remembered...
