Both services with Holy Communion; confirma­tion at the English service. Prepara­tory services Saturday at 6:30 in Hungarian, at 7:30 in English fol­lowed by public examination of con­­firmands. Baptismal vows of the following young people will be confirmed on Pentecost: Mary Margaret Acs, Lil­lian Elizabeth Anderson, Nancy Breza, Joseph Frank Cinege, Chris­tine Eleanor Comba, Donna Kay Comba, Theodore Alexander Hamer, Janette Elizabeth Kovács, William Lazar Jr., Elizabeth Mary Legeny, Roger Lee Martin, Lisa Wynn Nagys Ethel Susanna Papp, Ronald Job Pross, Richard Allen Sebok, Robert Louis Toth, Judith Ann Varga, Bruce Wayne William, Barbara Ba­log. The Youth Fellowship will hold a party for the newly confirmed on May 24th. The exemplary cooperation be­tween the two women’s organiza­tions, the Men’s Club, and the Youth Fellowship added much to the suc­cess of a smoothly run United Church Women conference on May 7th. Donations to the Hollywood con­gregation, including $100 gifts from each the Lorantfy Society and Jun­ior Women’s Guild, have reached $350. New white coyers for the Lord’s Table and the pulpit will be dedicat­ed at the Pentecost service. They are a gift of the Lorantfy Society. The Annual Picnic will take place at West Carteret Park on June 25th. DUQUESNE, PA. Our May Fellowship Dinner was held on the first Sunday of the month. Our program included the showing of a film, “Beyond A Doubt” and an amateur film: the building of our church. Mr. Albert A. Fiók, the Legal Counsel of our Church, was the speaker. Musical numbers included a solo by Ruth Sapos and Stephanie Szőke (piano). Our Pastor as dean of the School of Religious Education, sponsored by the Protestant Ministerium, preach­ed the sermon on their Recognition Service (May 7). During the months of spring our Church Council participated in both the spiritual and manual work of the church, including visitation of some members and painting and landscaping. On Pentecost (May 21) we will have the usual holiday schedule, with the Lord’s Supper being administer­ed on both services. Our vacation Bible School will commence on June 12. PERTH AMBOY, N. J. Order of service at Pentecost: May 19, Friday: 7:30 P.M. Preparatory Service in English, Saturday, May 20: in Hungarian. Pentecost Sunday, at 9:00 A.M.: English, and 10:30 A.M.: Hungarian service with Holy Communion; at 6:00 P.M. the Annual Mother’s Day Banquet in the auditorium. Pente­cost Monday, May 22nd: 10:30 A.M., Hungarian Service with Holy Com­munion. The Annual Bowling Banquet is scheduled for Friday, May 26th when members of the Church Ath­letic League will all participate. An excursion to Shrines Circus, Trenton, N. J., will be held on Satur­day, June 3rd, for the Bible and Sun­day School children. Mr. Andrew Rácz Jr., and the Sunday and Bible School teachers will be in charge of the children who wish to attend. The following donations were dis­tributed recently from our church: Mission Fund (for the Miami, Fla., church) $150., for “One Great Hour of Sharing” $75., Rutgers Hun­garian Institute $750. (last year be­fore Christmas $666.), Hollywood, Calif, church $614. — Thanks to all who made these donations possible. ROEBLING, N. J. The Mother’s Day dinner was pre­pared by members of the Board of Elders. The Rev. Dezső Trombitás, pastor of our Hollywood congregation, was guest speaker at worship services on April 13th and 14th. We shall dedicate new American and Hungarian flags in the course of the worship service on June 4th. A congregational dinner will follow the dedication.
