SCOUT SHOP. TlaNDA SCOUT. It is traditional that the important Hungarian scout institutions came into being when other great events occured in our movement. This was the case with our scout shop which was opened at the Fifty-years jubilee of the founding of Hungarian scouting. The year of I960 also marked the Fifteenth Anniversary of our scouting in exile when the troops, scouters, and friends of our scouts joined in the undertaking of the establishment of a scout shop. Its purpose is to supply our scouts, scattered on four continents, with equipments, sports requisits as well as books and publications. NORTHAM3RICAN SCOUT PARK. On the Northamerican continent Cleveland, Ohio is one of the largest Hungarian scout-centre. Of the city ’ s population there are more than 100,000 of Hungarian descent. Consequently the scout movement was strengthened not only in numbers but also in material respects. The four troops in Cleveland together with the other Hungarian scouts in Ohio laboured unceasingly to promote the common end of scouting beyond the call of their own duty. Their annual Scout Days drew 3 - 4,000 visitors. From the proceeds of these and other events they acquired their 200 acres Park during our jubilee year. It will not serve their recreations only but it will become a training-centre for our scouts in North A- merica. SOUTHAMERICAN SCOUT PARK. Until his untimely death Balint Simon, Benedictine Father, was a founder and missionary pioneer of the Hungarian scout movement in Latin America. The new scout park inaugurated in the jubilee year was rightly named for him and dedicated to his memory. According to the plans the Simon Parkwill be scene of the major events of our scouts in Brazil and together with the Teleki Park /Seo Bbujo/ and Mindszenty Park /Rio de Janeiro/ will serve as training-centre for all Hungarian scouts in Latin America. Es traaicionai que las más importantes instituciones de los scouts húngaros aparecieran cuanüo se proaucíen otros acontecimientos ae gran importancia. Como en el caso de la apertura de la Tienda Scout, que se inau(£uró en el 50mo Jubiieo de la fundación del Escultismo HÚngaro. El ano I960 marca también el Décimo Quinto Aniversario de nuestra Asociación en exilio, cuando las tropes, jefes scouts y amigos de nuestros scouts se juntaron para estabiecer la Tienda Scout. Su propösito es proveer a nuestros scouts, disperses en cuatro Continentes, de equipos de escultismo y de sport, asi como de iibros y otras publicaciones. PARQUE SCOUT EN NORTE AMÉRICA. En el Continents nortamericano Cleveland, Ohio, es uno de los más gsndes centros de scouts húngaros. Más que 100.000 habitantes de la ciudad son de origen húngara. Consecuentemente ei movimento se ha fortificado no sólamente en numeros sino materialmente también. Las quatro tropas de Cleveland, conjuntamente con las otras del estado de Ohio, trabajárón sin descanso para promover los fines últimos del escultismo, sobrepasado el limité de sus propios deberes. El Dia Scout anual atrajo entire trés mii y cuatro mii visitantes. Con el producto de éste y de otros aconteciraientos adquirieron su _parque de 200 acres, durante nuestro ano de jubiieo. El parque servirá no solo para recreación, sino que se convertirá en un centro de entrenamiento para nuestros scouts en Norte América. PARQUE SCOUT EN AMERICA DEL SUR. Hasta el momento de su muerte prematura, el Padre Bálint Simon fűé el fungador y misionero pionero del movimiento scout húngaro en América Latina. El nuevo Parque Scout inaugurado en el aSo del jubiieo se dedicó a su memoria y lleva su nombre. Según los planes del Parque Simon, este será el sitio de los más ginndes acontecimientos scouts en Brasil} y conjuntamente con el Parque Teleki /Sao Paulo/ y el Parque Mindszenty /Rio de Janeiro/ servirán como centros de entrenamiento.
