Nine Hungarian scoutleaders ,coming from four different countries, took part in this great and extremely successful gathering. The camp was organized wonderfully by the Dutch hosts. They even provided sunshine, an extraordinary accomplishment in the Netherlands . The program was centered around daily discussions and exhibits, with plenty of free time for an exchange of ideas among the 600 participants. Sccut spirit, discipline, and the sense of co-operation were first-rate. The grotp was able to act in perfect harmony, to give undivided attention to the lecturers, or to sit prayerfully at the end of a campfire under the bright stars. Yet, at any given signal the Indaba campers could also break up in so many small and excited groups, to joke and laugh, and relax to the music of the band in Ada’s Inn. The presence of lady scouters added much to the color of the camp. We of the Hungarian delegation found the camp to be an excellent piaoe to renew old friendships and to make new ones. Our own Association being a world-movement itself /we operate on four continents, mind you!/ within a larger world movement, we have more and more international ties. Whereas in the past most of our friends were from Europe, nowadays we feel at home among Asians and Africans as well.Some Indaba campers from the Far East still recalled the visit of the Hungarian Jamboree Patrol in 1959* Others, especially the Africans, gave useful advice and contacts for the Africa trip which four of us were to take after the Indaba. Indeed, the world is getting ever smaller, and the majestic oaks of Ommen witnessed something that ought to be /and we hope will be/ repeated again and again in the future. oLcl <tßrt-a>yrCL /Ommen, Hoianda, Agosto de 1960/ Nueve iideres scouts, procedentes de cuatro paises diferences, participaron en esta exitosa gran reunion. El Campo fűé organizado maravillosa me nte por los anfitriones holandeses. Haste consiguieron que ssliera el sol, lo cual es muy dificii en Holende. El programa estaba centrado en discusiones y exhibiciones diarias,con mucho tiempo libre para cambiar ideas entre ios 600 participantes. El espiritu scout, discipiina y sentido de cooperación fueron de priaera. El grupo fűé capaz de actuar en perfecta armonia, prestar entera atencion a los oradores u orar piadosamente al final de una hoguera bajo las estreiias brillantes. Aún, a cada senal dada, los participantes del Indaba pudieron dividirse en muchos pequenos y excitados grupos, para bromear, reir y descansar, escuchando le banda de musica del Inn Ada. T,a presencia de muchachas instruotoras de lobatos anadió mucho color al campo. Nosotros, la delegáción hűngara, encontramos en el campo un sitio excelente para renovar viejas amistades e iniciar otras. Siendo nuestre Asociación un movimiento mundial /estamos operando en cuatro Continentes/ dentro del gran movimiento mundial, edquirimos cada vez más vinculos internacionales. Cuando antes la mayoría de nuestros amigos erűn europeos, ahora nos sentimos en familia entre ios asiáticos como entre ios africanos. Aigunos de los participantes del Indaba que vinieron del Lejano Oriente, se acordeban todavia de la visits de ia patrulia hungere en 1959, después aei Jamboree en las Filipinas. Ostros, especiaimente los africanos nos dieron consejos utiles y contactos para el viaje en Africa que cuatro de nuestro grupo planeaba hacer después del Indaba. 11
