EFKAT (d. 1242/1826). He is known as author of a biographical work of Ottoman poets. He stayed for sometime at the court of the Crimean khans and was the secretary of the beys of Walachia and Moldavia. After his retirement he settled down in Istanbul. He is buried in Kuruçeşme. 72
