(198a) «dűl <dUI <1, Work by the 16 T H e. Sufi poet ARÍF MEHMED EFENDÍ (d. 971/1563). He was born in Denizli, grew up in Istanbul and belonged to the leading adherents of the Zeyniye order. Another mystical work in verse by him is Nüzhetü'l muvahhidin. The title of the work is given on lb as j^yJi t^j ^Jj j^.; on 24a as 4 «61 fjü a^-yJi The work was completed in Receb 943/December 1536 (198b); the copy is dated Safer 947/June 1540 (198b), so it was written soon afterwards. Due to employment of different paper and script, 14a-18b seem to have been written later.
