The Zenan-name is written in the margins of the text of Sünbül-zade Vehbi's Şevk-engiz. It was first printed in 1838 in Istanbul; however, Mustafa Reşid Paşa found it indecent and had it confiscated. The second edition was published by J. Decourmanche, who translated it into French, in Paris (1890). Literature: OM 2.370; PhTF (1964).452; TDEA 3.167. In the manuscript, the work is preceded by the risale Huban-name-i Mir Fazıl (lb-8b), written in the margins as well, and followed by Rakkas-name (17b— 19b).
