T.P.: Mi phyugs la god kha kha mchu dkar nag gsum bcos thabs CONT.: Explanation of a ritual for averting harms, diseases, losses, etc. threatening the people and the cattle, composed by a Bstan-pa'i-rgyal-mtshan of Urga on the basis of Mongolian sealed scriptures (?, sog-pa'i yig-rgya). This ritual is not of the ransom (glud) type but, similary to those liberation rituals (bsgral-las) in which the "ritual horn" (thun-rva) is used, here the weapon against the evil spirits is an ox horn filled with ritual substances (lit.: "black substances", nag-rdzas).
