The series comprises close-up views of objects unearthed by Stein in the course of the expedition at Niya, Yotkan, Dandan-Uiliq and other sites. The prints are uncaptioned, but are numbered in pencil on the reverse. The majority of the prints are duplicated in Stein Photo 8/2(69-81).
