[B.5-6] Stein Photo 41/6 Photographs of Mohand Marg and Iraq 41 quarter-plate prints housed in a Kodak envelope inscribed in Stein's hand 'Photographs of Marg, Iraq and Oxford, 1928-9,' and in blue pencil 'Oxford 1929.' The collection in fact contains no Oxford photographs and almost all the photographs relate to Stein's visit in 1928 to Ur (then being excavated by Leonard Wool ley), Lagash, Warka and Eridu. Print 40 is not part of this series and print 41 may also be unconnected. 141
