It has neither an introduction, nor a colophon, and its author is unknown. This summary, serving perhaps as a reminder, begins with the elements of arithmetic (multiplication tables), and following this it describes the whole of chronology in a nutshell: the duodecimal and sexagesimal cycles, the names of the months, etc. It can only be supposed that this syllabus was written by Csoma's teacher, Sans-rgyas phun-chogs.
