The Library of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences launches a new series titles Oriental Studies - Keleti Tanulmányok, the first volume of which is this publication. The new series indicates the separation of a special field from the series titles Magyar Tudományos Akadémia Könyvtárának Közleményei - Publicationes Bibliothecae Academiae Scientiarum Hungaricae. In this independent series oriental studies and papers on the documents and the history of the Oriental Collection will be published.
