The bibliographical items grouped under each name according to the above-mentioned principles are presented in chronological order. Entries are cited according to current bibliographical conventions, on the basis of details supplied by the author and taking into account the special aims of the publication. Works issued in different languages are considered one-item entries with reference to particular linguistic versions if the place and dates of publication and the publisher of these versions are identical. But insofar as certain differences in the afore-mentioned data can be traced, the diverse language variants of the publications with the same titles are regarded as special items. In case of publications of composite authors the names of co-authors are included in brackets. Analytical entries of studies in collections are followed by equal signs and then the titles of the collections with proper bibliographical data. In the case of articles appeared in periodicals the entry involves the title of the periodical, volume details, year of publication and the appropriate pages. Titles of periodicals have not been abbreviated, except in the case of Actas published by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences which are cited without the names of institutions found in their full titles (e.g. Acta Antiqua, Acta Orientalia etc.). The bibliography concludes with an author index where the names of co-authors not attached to the Library are not included. The present bibliographical compilation of scholarly publications of the Academy Library staff can be regarded as a contribution to the achievements of the Library in the service of science during the last twenty-five years.
