The 150th anniversary of the Library of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences : addresses of the foreign guests / 150 let Biblioteke Vengerskoj Akademii Nauk

4 On the occasion of the anniversary the Library issued several new publications, some of which were new volumes of existing series, such as the ' Catalogues of the Manuscript Department of the Library of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences' Vol. 9, 'Publications of the Library of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences' Vols. 73 , 74 , 75 and the first volume of a new series. The first volume of 'Oriental Studies' was also published. The jubilee publication of the Library of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences appeared in English, Hungarian and Russian in an edition which abundantly illustrates the Library's history, its activities and special collections. The purpose of the present work is to collect in one volume the addresses of the foreign guests who graced the jubilee celebrations with their presence, — those speches that could not be delivered because of lack of time — and make them available to everybody who may be interested in reading them.
