Main fields of research include the investigation of the viral, bacterial and parasitic diseases of farm animals, and molecular biological research in these areas. In basic research particular attention is given to molecular and genetic aspects. Researches are conducted under virology, bacteriology and mycoplasma, and fish para­sitology projects. The Institute is also engaged in Mailgraduate and graduate training.
