Colophon : vol. IV, fol. 143 : Nathan bar Simeon Halevi copied the manuscript between Thursday 9 'Iyar 5055 (26 April 1295) and 8 Elul 5056 (8 August 1296) for his brother-in-law, Abraham ben Berakhiah. (The colophon is erroneous, 9 ,Iyar 5056 was a Tuesday) . Vol.IV, fol,143v : scribe's signature. Vol.IV, fol.l69v : Ephraim b. Uri Halevi Gumprecht finished copying the responsa, and the marginal commentaries in Cologne, on Sunday 2 Nisan 5173 (5 March 1413). Scribal notes : The scribe Nathan b. Simeon marked the name "Levi" with foliage decoration on several pages (e.g. I, fols 65, 65v; II, fols 59v, 114, 169v; III, fols 8v, 137; IV, fols 89, 102, 116, 142v), and the name "Nathan" once (II, fol.ll7v). Vol.11, fol.48 over the heads of a man and a woman : "Abraham (the patron of the manuscript) and Yentil" (his wife, the scribe's sister) . Scribal invocations : "God give me strength !" at the end of each book.
