CHAPTER EIGHT – PCR and NGS investigations

II/52_3 and Béla III, and to distinguish between them, we designated them Budapest-1 (Bl) and Budapest-2 (B2). We isolated DNA for sequencing from these separately. The DNA isolated from sample Bl was marked Al, while DNA isolated from sample B2 was marked A2. The results from the study of DNA samples Al and A2 were designated Ml and M2 in the case of skeleton 11/52, while they were designated M3 and M4 in the case of Béla III (Figure 34). Figure 34. Workflow of the next generation sequencing conducted on the following A-STR markers’ chromosome regions of the skeletons II/52_3 and Béla III: D2S441, D2S1338, D3S1358, D7S820 and D19S433. 152 11/52 Tibia-1 DNA isolation DNA isolation King Béla III Tibia-2 DNA isolation DNA isolation
