Muzeológiai tanulmányok - Németh Péter: Fedezzük fel együtt a Balaton titkait! Foglalkoztató lapok összeállítása általános iskolásoknak

Fedezzük fel együtt a Balaton titkait! 275 wanted it to be creative, enquiring and leading the children through interesting exercises. Moreover, I included items that would urge the children to discover things and enquire outside the museum by suggesting tours to make further discoveries. Assembling the worksheet, I wanted to include questions and tasks of different types. When preparing the activity worksheet that was to be used as preparation for visiting the permanent exhibition, my aim was to increase the variety of exercises as well as including those with different levels of difficulty. The layout of the worksheet plays and important part in connecting it to the Balatoni Museum. The logo and using colours are a great help in achieving this. Part of this aim was fulfilled by having a playful mascot. The figure chosen was ‘Catfish King’ on the basis of the ideas pooled and discussed by museum workers, children and teachers. At the evaluation stage, we found that the success of the worksheet proved that the children liked this unusual approach to viewing an exhibition. The teachers missed not having an answer- sheet. In the 21st century it is very important that the worksheets should be financially profitable. We fix our aims: first, where the finance will come from and how long it would take to produce the worksheets. Secondly, we have to decide on our target group and how the worksheet will be distributed. Deciding on the cost of the worksheet is part of the plan discussed above. There are many different ways of “selling” the worksheets. This could be done initially at the museum. The other way is to have them available in a bookshop; in this case the worksheet should be slightly altered so that it is not connected to the museum all the way through the booklet.
