The church of the village in Akol, Ocol or Okol of the abbey in Bakonybél has never been mentioned in the parochial records. It turned out that it is 11.33 m long, has been disturbed and seriously damaged several times. This rotunda dates back to the Arpadian Age, which came up during the orientative-like ten days long excavation. The internal diameter of its three-quarter arched, slightly irregular apse is 3.55 m, while its outer diameter is 5.35 m. The internal diameter of its round nave is 6.1 m and the outer is 7.85 m. The wall of the apse is 90-95 cm wide, the wall of the nave on the western side is 90-95 cm wide, on the southern side it is 85 cm wide. The internal diameter of the apse and the ossarium added to the southern side of the wall of the nave is 105-110 cm. It has a north-east - south-west orientation. 46 SÖRÖS 1903. 45. 47 GERVERS-MOLNÁR 1972. 36. 48 Uo. wall of the apse is tougher compared to the whole church, it remained higher than the boarding next to the altar with 5066 m. The wall of its nave had been strongly demolished or destroyed. The excavation was not successful in determining the entrance, the outer level of the floor and the boarding of the nave. Besides the grave finds (coffin-nails, girl's headdresses and probably the silver denarius), most of the finds belonged to the village near the church. The pot fragments and the metal articles cover a wide time range. The pottery material can be dated back to between the 12th and 14th century, but the iron locking device could not have been made earlier than the 15th century.
