Rainer Pál: A Berhidán és Felsőzsidén a XIX. században talált pecsétek (II. Géza és III. István királyunk pecsétnyomói?)

impression of king István Ill's seal is also to be found, which in all probability was produced from the István III seal of the Felsőzsid seal, most likely in the 19 th century. Wax seals of Géza II and István III obviously all originate from an identical typarium. Both the figures and inscriptions of the Berhida and Felsőzsid seals, however, - although only in details - differ from those of the wax seals. On the basis of epigraphic examination, however, they could be of the period, or at least, close to the period. They are most probably to be regarded as one-time forgeries or copies. They are in any case peculiar relics of Hungarian Árpád period sphragistics. 83
