On the course of the ant-faunistical investigations mostly based on the material of Natural-History Museum of Bakony 53 ant species proved. Two of them are new for Hungary. 2. In the zoogeographical point of view the high number of Southern species is characteristic, especially in BalatonHighland. 3. Ecologically, the eremophilous species have the highest number even in the North-Bakony having the most montaneous environmantal effect.
