recorded 22 species known then to occur in the region of the Bakony Mts. The subsequent 70 years scarcely trebled this number, i. e. 10 authors have shown a total of 73 species only. The present author has been working on the sawfly collection of the Bakony Natural History Museum, Zirc since 1967. His first list contains 64 species (ZOMBORI 1973) discussing all the families of Symphyta except the most populous one, the Tenthredinidae. The second list comprising the species of the subfamilies Selandriinae, Dolerinae and Blennocampinae has now been completed showing the data of 92 species. The following species are rare or interesting in the fauna of the Bakony Mts., or even for the whole of the Carpathian Basin: Monoctenus obscuratus intermedium ZOMB., Aneugmenus coronatus KL., A. padiL., Atoposelandria fuerstenbergensis KNW., Strongylogaster xanthocera STEPH., Athalia Scutellariae CAM., Hoplocampoides xylostei GIR., Metallus gei Brischke, Profenusa pygmaea KL.
