Volksbaudenkmäler im Balaton-Oberland BÉLA SISA In unserem Land gibt es 10 555 geschützte Denkmäler. Von diesen sind 1 784 Denkmäler der Volksbaukunst. Die meisten geschützten Volksbaudenkmäler befinden sich im Komitat Veszprém, wir finden hier insgesamt 469 einzeln geschützte Gebäude. Sechs Regionen sind im Land besonders bedeutend für die Volksbaudenkmäler, von welchen zwei sich nördlich vom Balaton befinden. Die alierwichtigste Region ist die Tihany-Gegend. Innerhalb der geschützten Region zählen wir 255 Objekte, von welchen 59 individuell geschützt sind. Die andere geschützte Region ist Szigliget mit 165 Gebäuden, von welchen 54 unter indiviuellem Schutz stehen. Das Balaton-Oberland setze ich dem Komitat Veszprém gleich, da sie als Verwaltungseinheit in dieser Form dem Landesdenkmalschutzamt unterstellt sind. Wir beschäftigen uns seit langem mit der Bewahrung der Denkmäler an der Nordseite des Balaton (Komitat Veszprém), die Zahl der restaurierten Gebäude beträgt 19. Dies sind vor allem Heimathäuser. Wir heben die Heimathäuser hervor, weil sie als architektonische und ethnographische Einheit über einen besonderen kulturhistorischen und touristischen Wert verfügen. Die restaurierten und unterstützten Gebäude mit Museumsfunktion haben nachstehende Adressen: Bakonybél, Fő u. 15., Balatonkenese, Kossuth u. 6., Balatonudvari, Friedhof der Reformierten, Csopak, Kisfaludy u. 8., Kékkút, Fő u. 55., Kővágóőrs, Petőfi u. 18., Magyarpolány, Petőfi u. 4., Nagyvázsony, Schumacher-Haus, Örvényes, Szt. Imre u. 1., -Wassermühle, Sáska, Kossuth u. 38., Tés: Held- und Ozi-Windmühlen, Tihany, Battyhány u. 18., Batthyány u. 20., Városlőd, Kossuth u. 57., Várpalota, Jókai u. 18., Zánka, Fő u. 15. In Szigliget werdem im Moment zwei Häuser restauriert. Wir untersuchen die Möglichkeiten im Komitat Veszprém, neue geschützte Regionen zu identifizieren, da die traditionellen Denkmäler der Volksarchitektur nicht mehr „neu entstehen" werden. So untersuchen wir wieder die Möglichkeit, die Vörösmali Kellerreihe in Aszófő, den Németpolány-Teil in Magyarpolány, die ganze Siedlung von Vöröstó sowie Balatonfüred-Arács unter Denkmalschutz zu stellen. Situation of the historical monuments of traditional architecture in the Balaton-Uplands BÉLA SISA There are 10 555 protected historical monuments in Hungary. Out of these, 1 784 represent traditional architecture. Most of the protected monuments of traditional architecture are in the county of Veszprém with 469 buildings, each qualified for individual protection. Hungary has 6 important regions for traditional historical monuments and two of them are situated north of the Balaton. The most important region is Tihany where 255 objects are protected, 59 of them under individual protection. The other protected area is Szigliget with 165 buildings, of which 54 enjoy individual protection. I identify the Balaton-Uplands with the county of Veszprém because it is attached to the county as administrative unit and it is put in this form under the control of the National Department for Protection of Historical Monuments. We are occupied for a long time with the preservation of historical monuments on the north of Balaton (in the county of Veszprém), the number of restored buildings is 19. These are mostly local vernacular houses. We stress the importance of them because being an architectural and ethnographic unit, they have a special historico-cultural value and importance in the tourism. The restored and subsidized houses with museum function can be found at following addresses: Bakonybél, Fő u. 15., Balatonkenese, Kossuth u. 6., Balatonudvari, Protestant cemetery, Csopak, Kisfaludy u. 8., Kékkút, Fő u.55., Kővágóőrs, Petőfi u. 18., Magyarpolány, Petőfi u. 4., Nagyvázsony, Schumacher- house, Örvényes, Szt.Imre u.1., - water mill, Sáska, Kossuth u.38., Tés, Held and Ozi wind-mills, Tihany, Batthányi u. 18., Batthányi u. 20., Városlőd, Kossuth u. 57., Várpalota, Jókai u. 18, Zánka, Fő u. 15. At the moment, two buildings are being restored in Szigliget. We check the possibilities in the county of Veszprém to appoint new protected areas, as historical monuments of traditional architecture won't be reproduced. Therefore, we check again the possibility to classify the row of cellars in Aszófő (Vörösmái), the part of Németpolány in Magyarpolány, the whole settlement of Vöröstó and Balatonfüred-Arács as historical monuments. 418
