FELHÍVÁS ANNOUNCEMENT A Kulturális Alapítvány a Textilművészetért, a Szombathelyi Képtár, a Biennálé Bizottság, Vas megye Önkormányzata, Szombathely Megye Jogú Város Önkormányzata, a Magyar Alkotóművészek Országos Egyesülete, a Magyar Képzőművészek és Iparművészek Szövetsége, a Művelődési és Közoktatási Minisztérium és a Képző- és Iparművészeti Lektorátus meghirdeti az 1998. évi 15. MAGYAR TEXTILBIENNÁLÉT, amelynek témája a SZABADSÁG 1848-1998. Ehhez kapcsolódóan kerül megrendezésre az 1. NEMZETKÖZI ZÁSZLÓ KIÁLLÍTÁS -1998 A kiállításon részt vehet minden művész és formatervező, éljen bárhol a világon, aki a kiírás feltételeit figyelembe veszi. Új, - kizárólag erre az alkalomra készült művel lehet jelentkezni. A készülő művek tervei előzsűrizésen vesznek részt. A tervpályázaton elfogadott művek kivitelezéséhez - a magyar alkotóknak - a Kulturális Alapítvány a Textilművészetért Kuratóriuma és a Biennálé Bizottság együttesen anyagi támogatást nyújt. A pályázók kötelezettséget vállalnak, hogy támogatott tervüket megvalósítják. Amennyiben a kész mű nem éri el a terv színvonalát, az alkotás nem kerül kiállításra. A terveket vagy 1:5 léptékű rajz formájában, vagy maketten leírt koncepció kíséretében kérjük beadni a mellékelt jelentkezési lappal együtt. A zsűri csak a határidőre beadott terveket tudja figyelembe venni. A beadás helye: Képző- és Iparművészeti Lektorátus 1014 Budapest, Úri u. 54-56. Tel/Fax: 156-1764 A terv beadási határideje: 1997. november 24. (hétfő) 9-14 óráig A zászló mérete: 100 cm - kötött méret x 300 cm - befoglaló méret, ezen belül a méret kötetlen. A tartórúdhoz való rögzítés a 100 cm-es oldalon történik. Kérjük a tervezésnél és a kivitelezésnél ezt figyelembe venni, továbbá, hogy a mű ne legyen túl súlyos. A zászló anyaga bármilyen külső térben alkalmazható anyagból készülhet (fém, fa, zsineg, bőr, textil, stb.). Pályázni lehet csoportosan vagy egyénileg, a zászló adott méreteinek betartásával. Aki a tervpályázaton nem kíván részt venni, az a jelentkezési lapon tüntesse fel, hogy kész művel kíván pályázni, és a jelentkezési lapot a kitűzött határidőre (1997. november 24-ig) feltétlenül küldje el a megjelölteimre: Képzó-és Iparművészeti Lektorátus 1014 Budapest, Úri u. 54-56. (hétfő) The Cultural Foundation for the Textile Art, the Szombathely Gallery, the Biennial Committee, the County VAS, the County Right City of SZOMBATHELY, the National Association of the Hungarian Creative Artists, the Federation of the Hungarian Artists and Industrial Designers, the Ministry of Culture and Education and the Department of Fine and Applied Arts announce the 1st INTERNATIONAL FLAG BIENNIAL of 1998 linked with the 15th HUNGARIAN TEXTIL BIENNIAL whose topic is LIBERTY 1848-1998. Any artist or designer can participate in the exhibition, no matter where they live, who respect the conditions of the announcement. Artists can apply for the participation with works made exclusively for this occasion. The plans of the works will be pre-juried. The Council of Curators of the Cultural Foundation for the Textile Art and the Biennial Committee will provide a financial aid to Hungarian artists for the excecution of the works accepted at the competition of plans. In case the finished work presented does not reach the level of the plan, the work will not be exhibited. The plans have to be presented in the form of a drawing scaled 1:5 or as a model accompanied by a written conception and the application form. Tel/Fax: 156-1764 Deadline of presentation for the plan: 24th November/Monday/, 1998. 9-14 o'clock The size of the flag: 100 ems - fixed size x 300 ems - enframing size, otherwise the size is free. The flag has to be fixed to the holder-rod at the 100 cm side. Applicants are asked to remember it at both planning and execution. (The work should not be too heavy). The flag can be made of any material that can be used outside (metal, wood, thread, leather, textile, etc). Artists can apply individually or in groups, respecting the given sizes of the flag. Those who do not wish to participate in the competition of plans, are asked to indicate on the application form that they whish to apply for the exhibition with a finished work and to send the application form in on schedule by all means for the following address: Képző - és Iparművészeti Lektorátus 1014 Budapest, Úri u. 54-56.
