SA VARIA, 24/2 (Pars historico-naturalis) widely distributed all over the country. Feeds on grasses, especially on Calama­grostis. Acompus rufipes (Wolff, 1804) — Apátistvánfalva, 11.05.1993, DR. — Not frequent, feeds on Veronica. Stygnocoris rusticus (Fallén, 1807) — Csákánydoroszló, 07.09.1976, TS (3); Szalafő-Kondorfa, 02.09.1986, HB (3). — Frequent, can be found on the soil, as the most Rhyparochrominae species listed below, polyphag. Stygnocoris fuligineus (Geoffroy, 1785) — Kétvölgy: Permise, 05.25.1995, KE. — Not frequent, feeds on Calluna and a lot of other plants. Stygnocoris sabulosus (Schilling, 1829) — Hegyhátszentjakab, Vadása-tó, 01.10.1988, KE; Magyarszombatfa, 01.10.1988, KE; Szalafo-Farkasfa, 03.09.1986, HB. — Quite rare polyphagous species, prefers Calluna. Gastrodes abietum (Bergroth, 1914) — Felsőszölnök, 05.10.1995, TCs­VK. — Lives on pine trees and known only from a few localities in Hungary.
