KONDOROSY, E. — HARMAT, В.: Contributions to the Heteroptcra fauna of Őrség At this moment there are 796 Heteroptera species known in Hungary. From these, 234 species have been found in Őrség. It is not a low number but if we look at it more carefully a lot of common species are missing from the list, for example many water-, semiaquatic and tree-inhabiting bugs {Deraeocons lutescens, Miris striatus, Aradus spp., Asopinae spp.), bugs living on the soil (many Lygaeidae spp., Pyrrhocoris apterus, Cydnidae spp.) and other common species like e.g. Piesma capitatum, Ceraleptus gracilicomis, Eurydema ventrale, Rhaphigaster nebulosa. It means that those samples used in the field during the collecting program were not intensive enough. Additional collecting methods (e.g. pitfall trapping, beating, sampling from water) and more trips could also contribute to find much more species, perhaps interesting ones, too. The 234 species collected are belonging to 21 families (Table 1.).
