NAGY, В.— SZÖVÉNYI, G.: Orthopteroid insects of Őrség the entire Carpathian Basin. A limited group of species, however, shows characteristic and segregating occurrence in Őrség. These species should be mention here. Orthoptera-Ensifera species collected in different years and by different collectors in Őrség (Western Hungary). The relative abundance of species were marked as follows: 1 — rare occurrence 2 — scattered occurrence 3 — common occurrence (For initials see page 2.) Odontopodisma schmidti (Fieber, 1835) — The occurrence of this species, as we know presently, is restricted to the South-Western edge of Hungary. It was collected for first time in the őrség region (Őriszentpéter, Kondorfa, 01.07.1982) which represent also the first record for Hungary. Later this species was also collected along the Dráva river (Bélavár, 27.05.1997, Őrtilos, 28.05.1997) where we found (L b3 larvae) in the company of Poecilimon schmidti (Fieber, 1853), Leptophyes bosci (Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1878) etc. The area of Odontopodisma schmidti (Fieber, 1835) covers North-Western Italy, Slovenia, South-Eastern Austria and Western and North-Western Balkan. Therefore, the presence of this species in őrség region means the northernmost extension of its distribution. How18
