Its food-plants are Centaurea jacea, Salvia verticillata and Mentha officinalis. The voucher specimens are deposited: (pcPA). Donus tessellatus (Herbst, 1795) — Szalafő: Borjas-erdő, 03.05.1985, (snet.) RI; Szalafő: Felsőszer, 08.09.1993, VK, 13.06.1994, DR. — Distribution: Central Europe. It is a monophagous species living on Achillea millefolium. The determined beetles are to be found: (SM), (pcRI). Hypera arator (Linnaeus, 1758) —- Szőce, 08.10.1977, ÁL. — Distribution: North Africa, Europe and Siberia. Its food-plants are Dianthus, Cucubalus, Lychnis, Spergula, Gypsophila and Stellaria species. The voucher specimens are deposited: (SM).
