PODLUSSÁNY, A.: Curculionoidea (Coleoptera) of Őrség Landscape Conservation Area develops in the root of Cirsium, Carduus, Arctium, Onopordum and Centaurea species. The determined beetles are to be found: (SM), (pcPA), (pcRI). Ceratapion (Echinostroma) penetrans (Germar, 1817) — Csörötnek: Huszászi-patak völgye [5], 21.08.1982, (snet.) Its food-plants are various species of Centaurea. The voucher specimens are deposited: (SM), (pcRI). Ceratapion (Echinostroma) basicorne (Illiger, 1807) — Rábagyarmat, 15.07.1936, SzV. — Distribution: Europe and Asia Minor. This species is rare in the territory of Őrség. Its food-plants are Centaurea and Carduus species. The determined beetles are to be found: (HNHM).
