SAV ARIA, 23/2 (Pars historíco-naturalis) ORSODACNINAE Orsodacne lineola (Panzer, 1795) — Farkasfa, 02.05.1982, PA (2); Hegyhátszentjakab: Vadása-tó, 30.05.1982, PA (2); Magyarszombatfa, 12.05.1993, DR (7); Szalafő, 12.04.1982, 01.05.1982, PA. — Widely distributed all over the country. It could be collected from flowering Crataegus-, Mespilus-, Pyrus- and Prunus-species. ZEUGOPHORINAE Zeugophora flavicollis (Marsham, 1802) — Szalafo, 08-09.10.1983, PA. — A quite rare species, only one specimen is know from the territory investigated. Zeugophora subspinosa (Fabricius, 1781) — Farkasfa, 10.06.1984, PA; Szalafo, 20.08.1984, PA; Szalafő: Felsőszer, 01.05.1985, PA. — More frequent than the previous species, but uncommon. CRIOCERINAE Lema cyanella (Linnaeus, 1758) — Apátistvánfalva, 16.06.1993, TCs (8); Apátistvánfalva: Zsida-patak, 26.05.1983, PA; Kétvölgy: Ritkaháza, 07.07.1993, VK; Nemesmedves, 02.05.1979, RI (1, pcIR); Szakonyfalu, 20.07.1967, PJ. — Not so common. It's food plants are Cirsium-species, especially Cirsium arvense. Oulema duftschmidi (Redtenbacher, 1874) — Szalafo: Felsőszer, 08.09.1993, VK. — The leaf beetle commonly known as Oulema melanopus turned to be a complex of two closely related species O. melanopus (L.) and O. duftschmidi (Redt.) both of which are widely distributed in Europe. Probably mixed populations exist everywhere (BERTI, 1989; HANSEN, 1994; KIPPENBERG and DÖBERL, 1994). The two species are extremely similar in general appearance and unfortunately the only reliable character is the structure of male and female genitalia (Fig. 1.). The study of the genitalia of some specimens formerly identified as „O. melanopus" provided the first evidence for the occurrence of this species in Hungary. At the same time, the whole Hungarian material needs revision. Unrevised collections may be mixtures of the two closely related species.
