MELIKA, G.: The gall-maker cynipids of Őrség (Hymenoptera: Cynipidae) Andricus vindobonensis Müllner, 1901 (bisexual gen.only) — Szalafő: Felsőszer. — Rare in Őrség. On catkins of Quercus cerris. Inquilines: Synergus thaumocerus Dalman and Ceroptres arator Hartig. Aphelonyx cerricola (Giraud,1859) (unisexual gen. only) — Common everywhere in Őrség, where Quercus cerris grows. At Szalafő, Felsőszer in previous year's galls small colonies of Leptothorax tuberum Mayr and Dolichoderus quadripunctatus Linnaeus ants were found. Inquilines: Synergus thaumocerus Dalman and Saphonecrus undulatus (Mayr). Biorhiza pallida (Olivier, 1791) (bisexual gen.) — Apátistvánfalva: Zsidapatak völgye; Felsőszölnök; Kondorfa: Fővég; Kondorfa: Lugos-patak völgye; Magyarszombatfa: Szentgyörgyvölgyi-patak; Orfalu; Szalafő; Szőce. — Common everywhere. On Quercus robur, Q. petraea and Q. delachampii. Cynips agama Hartig, 1840 (unisexual gen.only) — Felsőszölnök; Magyarszombatfa: Szentgyörgyvölgyi-patak völgye. — Only locally common. On Quercus robur and Q. petraea. It prefers to develop on the undersurface of the leaves of small oaks, mainly that of Q. petraea, which are covered with grass-plants. On Quercus robur, Q. petraea and Q. delachampii. In fact, during my three-years collecting trips throughout Hungary, it is the first record of this species. Neuroterus saliens (Kollár, 1857) (unisexual gen.) — Szőce. —On Quercus cerris only. Synophorus politus Hartig, 1843 (bisexual gen. only) — Common everywhere in Őrség, where Quercus cerris grows. ROSE GALL INDUCING CYNIPIDS (on Rosa Spp.) Diplolepis eglanteriae (Hartig, 1840) — Kondorfa: Fővég; Kondorfa: Lugos-patak völgye; Szalafő: Felsőszer. — Only a few galls were found. Diplolepis rosae (Hartig, 1840) — Common everywhere in őrség. Inquilines: Periclistus brandtii (Ratzeburg). Diplolepis rosarum (Giraud, 1859) — Kondorfa: Fővég; Kondorfa: Lugospatak völgye; Szalafő: Felsőszer. — Locally common. 242
