Praenorica Folia historico-naturalia, V (2002) Distribution in the Carpathian Basin: Distributed sporadically but rare everywhere. KUTHY (1897) and KASZAB (1937, 19626) reported its occurrence from Kőszeg Mts. and Sopron but no voucher specimens have been found in Hungarian collections investigated. Other old Hungarian localities are as follows: Zirc, Nagyvázsony, Budapest, Isaszeg. Recently its occurrence was reported from Bükk Mts. (TOMOV etal. 1996). General distribution: North and Mid Europe. Chrysolina aurichalcea bohemica (G. Müller, 1948) HUNGARY — Borsod Abaúj-Zempién county: Bükk, Felsőtárkány: Tarkő, 27.IX. 1966, RI. Distribution in the Carpathian Basin: From the recent territory of Hungary this subspecies was reported for the first time from the Bükk Mts. (TOMOV et al. 1996). Since that time several specimens were collected in the territory of the Aggtelek National Park (Jósvafő: Nagy-oldal) (ViG 1999) and it was also reported from Mátra Mts. (ViG 1998a). General distribution: Mid Europe, Ukraine. Remarks: The specimen collected in the Bükk Mts. fits well the description of subspecies Chrysolina aurichalcea problematica (Kaszab) (KASZAB 1962a, 19626) from Transsylvania. However, the other specimen from the nearby Mátra Mts. is identical to the subspecies Chrysolina aurichalcea bohemica (G. Müller). In the Carpathian Basin its subspecific division, if any, needs further clarification. Chrysolina carnifex (Fabricius, 1792) HUNGARY—Pest county: Pócsmegyer, 3.VI.1967, PA; Taksony, 20.IV. 1973, PA. Distribution in the Carpathian Basin: Rare, distributed sporadically on sandy areas of the Great Plain. General distribution: Germany, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Byelorussia, Ukraine, Hungary, Romania, Caucasus. Chrysolina carpathica (Fuss, 1856) s. str. ROMANIA — Brassó [=Brasov county]: Fogarasi-havasok [=MunJii Fagaras], Bilea-tó [=Lacul Bîlea] (2200 m), 9.VIII.1991, PA.
