Distribution in the Carpathian Basin: Distributed mainly on the plains and hills but uncommon everywhere. General distribution: Europe, Palaearctic Asia (excl. Japan), Pakistan. Remarks: GRUEV (1992) and GRUEV & DÖBERL (1997) have not indicated the occurrence of this species from Greece, thus this species is proved to be new to the fauna of Greece. General distribution: Spain, southern part of France, southern part of Austria, Hungary, Romania, Balkan Peninsula, Caucasus, Turkey. Distribution in the Carpathian Basin: Rare, distributed only on marshy places of the plains and lower hilly areas. General distribution: Mid and South Europe, North Africa.
