Distribution in the Carpathian Basin: It was firstly recorded from Hortobágy National Park (TOMOV and GRUEV 1981), later was collected at Tihany (ROZNER 1990) and Bükk National Park (TOMOV et al. 1996). However, it has another data of occurrence in Hungary but the precise localities are unknown. General distribution: Mid and South Europe, Caucasus, South Russia. Longitarsus scutellaris (Rey, 1874) HUNGARY — Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county: Bükk, 6.IV.1977, OA, (sn); Veszprém county: Bakony, Hajmáskér, 26.III.1977, О A, (sn). Distribution in the Carpathian Basin: The genuine L. scutellaris (Rey) specimens have long been mixed with L. pratensis (Panzer). KASZAB (1962b) regarded this species as a rare one in Hungary. On the basis of recent investigations it seems to be a common and widely distributed species (GRUEV and MERKL 1992). General distribution: Europe, Caucasus, Asia Minor. Longitarsus strigicollis Wollaston, 1864 HUNGARY — Fejér county: Bakony, Bakonycsernye: Kisgyónbánya, 5.X. 1980, PA. Distribution in the Carpathian Basin: The late JOSEF KRAL revised Hungarian material of the L. pratensis group, and he recorded L. strigicollis Wollaston (as L. bombycinus Mohr) for the first time in Hungary (GRUEV et al. 1987). Rare species. General distribution: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland and North Africa, Atlantic Islands. Longitarsus substriatus Kutschera, 1863 HUNGARY —Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county: Nagyiván, 11-12.V.1974, PA [2]. Distribution in the Carpathian Basin: Widely distributed along waters and lakes, locally may be common. General distribution: Mid, South and Southeastern Europe, North Caucasus, Kazakhstan. 130
