Régészet - Botyánszki Anna: Szkíta kori temető Nyíregyháza-Mandabokor II., Ági-telep lelőhelyen

Botyánszki Anna As a consequence, small and hypothetical groups of burials can be separated only on the basis of the situation of the graves and burial rite. While inhumation graves, grouped at least at three spots, were found on the northern part of the hill, urn graves observed also at the southern part were grouped at four spots. No groups could be observed in the case of unumed cremation graves. Two matching stone fragments found in features 25 and 30 refer to the synchronicity of the urn and unumed cremation graves. Judging from the shape of stone implement it can be suggested that small stone plates with arched sides can be interpreted not only as grinding stones. At least part of them could serve as hand wheels. This hypothesis needs further research. Interior stratification of the population is not known, with the exception of um graves. In their case, on the basis of their situation and composition of finds, we can suggest some kind of differentiation in the community.
