My colleagues frequently ask me: “So when this house was built?” They were the ones who inspired me to write the history of the construction of the building housing rich collections of the Jósa András Museum. I made research in archives and local media. My interest focused on the circumstances determining the process of construction, and the judgement of the building by the local inhabitants and leaders of the town.
