Néprajz - Bodnár Zsuzsanna: A rétközi népélet tárgyakban, épületekben élő hagyományai a Sóstói Múzeumfaluban

A rétközi népélet tárgyakban, épületekben élő hagyományai a Sóstói Múzeumfaluban settlements (28) from Vencsellő up to Tuzsér. Until the late 19th century, the drainage of the land, people of the region made their living from the meadows, their activities were animal farming, fishing and reed-cutting. There are two estates from the Rétköz in the Museum Village. One of them is a three-part dwelling building from Beszterce originally constructed in 1812, and a much larger stall in front of it. To-date, among the farming buildings of Rétköz this stall is the most important one. Intensive animal keeping explains why the stall was usually bigger than the dwelling house. This building was brought to the Museum Village from the Kék. The structure of the building is bam+stall+cowshed. It was constructed out of adobe, had gable roof made of reed. Peasant estates always included swinery, the latter was brought from Tiszabercel. The wickerwork maize bam got to our collection from Paszab. Among the smaller buildings the round, multilevel pigeon house covered with tiles of wood is especially sophisticated. Originally it was used in Tiszatelek. On the occasion of opening the estate in the Museum Village, visitors could see a nicely decorated well-sweep coming from Nagyhalász. It was exhibited on the place of the reconstructed pole-well presently standing at the spot. Field-house from Paszab is situated, according to its original environment, on a hill surrounded by hedgerow. This is a transition between huts and dwelling houses with elevated walls. The room evidences the poor peasant way of life of its inhabitants. Its furniture is known starting from the 1930s, so we could place pieces of furniture acquired together with the house according to this information. Huge granary built of planks got to the collection of the Sóstó Museum Village from Nagyhalász. This building originally had plank floor, tiled roof and four large plank doors. It stood close to the railway station and was used as granary. Zsuzsanna Bodnár Sóstó Museum Village Nyíregyháza-Sóstófürdő H-4431 Pf. 1. e-mail: drbodzs@t-online.hu 193
