Helytörténet - D. Rácz Magdolna: Értünk dobbant a "Százhúszat verő szív" (Főhajtás a 90 éve született Váci Mihály emléke előtt)

D. Rácz Magdolna certificate where he appears as Mihály Vitái. There is a number of photographs in our collection preserving moments of his life from different ages. Among them we find studio and amateur photos presented to the collection by the poet’s mother. They depict the young pupil, the adolescent boy, the young man getting his primary school teacher diploma, the grown-up man, the successful poet. On the intimate family photographs, in the circle of his parents and sibling we see many of his faces. Which could be the real one? All of them and none of them. We find him in his poems, studies, prosaic works, drawings. These are the works that fulfil the stolen moments with spirit. From the poet’s and his mother’s writings we get acquainted with the artist and the simple, kind, good humoured man who, at the same time, had a combatant spirit. In the Literary Collection we keep his curriculum vitae, letters sent to his parents and sibling, postcards sent from abroad. From these writings we get to know a man who wanted to serve and to improve with his whole work dedicated to art and public life. This artist, despite of his great successes, remained a simple man who never forgot where he came from. Magdolna D.
