Régészet - Siklósi Zsuzsanna: A Tiszavasvári-Kashalom dűlőben és Hajdúnánás-Fürj-halom járáson feltárt avar sírok radiokarbon keltezése
Siklósi Zsuzsanna Individual calibrated date for grave 19 is between 668 (68.2%) 765 cal AD and 658 (95.4 %) 770 cal AD (Table 1). Taking into consideration the time when the coin was minted which was found in the grave 12, the probability distribution representing the boundary date for the start of the cemetery’s use is 573 (68.2%) 680 cal AD (Fig. 5). Radiocarbon dating of grave 12 can be restricted to an 11-year-long time interval, the interment could happen shortly afterwards the time when the coin was minted (Fig. 6). Probability distribution of Bayesian modelled date for grave 19 is 664 (68.2 %) 711 cal AD (Fig. 7). The probability distribution representing the boundary date for the end of the cemetery’s use is 665 (68.2%) 805 cal AD (Fig. 8). Radiocarbon dating supports the results of typochronological dating.
