Beszámoló jelentés Épületeink közül változatlanul rossz fizikai állapotban maradt a Báthori István Múzeum, a Rétközi Muzeális Gyűjtemény, a Bessenyei emlékház épülete (ennek tetőcseréje 2011-ben, külső meszelése 2012-ben megtörtént) és a Kállay Gyűjteménynek majdan helyet adó volt KIÉG épülete. A Tomcsányi kastély alagsora továbbra is igen nedves, ez veszélyezteti az itt elhelyezett kerámiagyűjteményt. Az év során a megyei önkormányzattól korábban a megyei múzeumigazgatóság kezelésébe került Nyíregyháza, Benczúr téri épületrészben egy lakást felújítottunk, ott állandó kiállítást rendeztünk be, de a többi lakás állaga továbbra is rossz. Bene János Jósa András Múzeum 11 4401 Nyíregyháza Pf. 57 e-mail: benejan@jam.nyirbone.hu Report on the activity of the Directorate of the Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County Museums in 2012 Law 154/2011 on the consolidation of county self-governments and take-over of the institutions belonging to county self-governments changed the earlier situation of the directorate of county museums: in 2012 we got anew maintainer. From then on, instead of the county self-government the museum has been maintained by the state. Our new maintainer is the County Institutions’s Maintaining Centre operating as a part of the Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County Government Office. On January 1st 2012 the name of the county museum directorate also changed, from now on it is Directorate of the Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County Museums. In the process of take-over, both Oszkár Seszták, the president of the transmitting county self-government and Dr. Győző Vinnai, the government commissioner taking over the museum underlined that the aim of the change is the initiation of conditions for safe, predictable and economical operation of the museum; the museum organisation will subsist and continue its work. So, our most important task was to preserve our operability that we were able to provide during year 2012. We managed to complete our programs planned in our institutions, opened our exhibitions. We run all our domestic and international projects according to the plans and prepared projects for 2013. Nine chapters of the report on the activity overview the work of the museum directorate in 2012. In this year 106 publications, 13 independent volumes, booklets were published by our colleagues. We arranged one permanent and 111 temporary exhibitions. In this year our museums were visited by 163.979 people including 75.700 students.
