Régészet - L. Nagy Márta: A Füzesabony kultúra sírjai Tiszadobról
L. Nagy Márta S-N. In most of the cases the grave-goods were placed inside the ham, and to one or both sides of the leg. In two cases a mug was put by the skull (graves 41, 48). We found bronze objects - all of them were pins - in 7 burials. Considering the number of grave-goods, in 5 graves there was one object, also in one case 3 pieces, in 8 graves 4 ones, in 2 graves 5 ones, in one grave 6 ones and in 2 graves 7 grave-goods. The richest burials (nos. 10, 17, 22, 23,26) included not only vessels but also bronze pin. Most of them was intact. The distribution of vessel types in the graves can be considered ordinary: in almost all of them there were a bowl, one or two mugs, one or two jugs, and in some graves small jar, pot or pot shaped vessel. In one case (grave 26) we observed that beside vessels of fine standard, a fragment of a rough vessel was put under the skull. Graves of the cemetery-part from Tiszadob cover not only one, but at least two periods of the existence of the Füzesabony Culture. The first burials can be dated to the older phase of the culture, their analogies are met among the pottery material of the Hemádkak and Megyaszó cemeteries. Part of the pottery types refers back to Hatvan Culture preceding Füzesabony Culture at our territory. The next phase (“B”, “B-C”) is also represented by the find material of graves 10, 17, 22, 23, 32, 33, 39. Graves 46, 48 may belong to a little younger phase. Analogies of their graves are known mainly from Füzesabony-Kettőshalom, Emőd-Istvánmajor or Mezőkeresztes Keresztespüspöki. However, the really characteristic vessels of period “C” are missing from the find material of our graves Márta Nagy L. Jósa András Museum Nyíregyháza H^1401 Pf. 57. e-mail: lnagymarta@gmail.com 28
